STS Impact Windows & Doors and Its Sliding Glass Door Work in Jupiter
STS Impact Windows & Doors is an impact windows installer based at 1000 Holland Dr #10 in the northern part of Boca Raton, Florida, within Palm Beach County. While the company's home base sits along the established Holland Drive commercial corridor, its work reaches well beyond Boca Raton itself, and the sliding glass door portion of that work extends north to Jupiter, one of the coastal communities the company serves. This page profiles that single facet of the brand: the impact-rated sliding glass doors STS Impact Windows & Doors provides for Jupiter properties.
How Sliding Glass Doors Fit the Brand's Overall Work
Sliding glass doors are one piece of a broader catalog that defines STS Impact Windows & Doors as a contractor. The company's name reflects its focus, and its offerings run across impact windows and impact doors of many kinds — impact sliding glass doors, impact French doors, impact entry doors, impact casement windows, single hung impact windows, awning windows, horizontal roller windows, fixed or picture windows, and impact garage doors, among others. Within that lineup, impact sliding glass doors serve a specific purpose: they combine wide expanses of glass with the storm resistance that South Florida properties call for. In Jupiter, that same product line is delivered by the same company that works throughout Palm Beach County, so the sliding glass door service is not a separate business but an extension of the brand's core identity as an impact windows and doors specialist.
What Impact Sliding Glass Doors Involve in Plain Language
In simple terms, a sliding glass door slides horizontally along a track rather than swinging open, which lets a large opening join an interior living space to a patio, lanai, or yard without a door panel taking up floor space. The impact-rated versions STS Impact Windows & Doors installs are built to hold up against the wind and flying debris that accompany the region's seasonal storms. The glass and framing are engineered so the door stays intact under pressure, which is why these products are grouped with hurricane windows and hurricane garage doors in the company's offerings. For a Jupiter homeowner, the practical result is a door that opens up a view and a breeze during calm weather while adding a layer of protection when the coastal climate turns severe. Because these are larger openings, the installation is careful work — the panels, tracks, and frames all have to be fitted correctly for the door to slide smoothly and perform as intended.
Serving Jupiter and the Wider Palm Beach County Area
Jupiter sits along Florida's Atlantic coast in northern Palm Beach County, the same county where STS Impact Windows & Doors is based. Delivering sliding glass doors and related impact products to Jupiter is part of a service footprint that also reaches Palm Beach Gardens, West Palm Beach, Wellington, Boynton Beach, and Delray Beach, along with the company's home communities closer to Boca Raton — including Kings Point, High Point, the Hamptons at Boca Raton, Boca Del Mar, Sandalfoot Cove, Gulf Stream, Deerfield Beach, and Coconut Creek. The company also carries out work in Broward County communities such as Fort Lauderdale, Plantation, and Davie. This spread means the sliding glass door work done in Jupiter is backed by a contractor already active across a large stretch of South Florida's coastal corridor, where durable building improvements are a practical priority given the region's weather.
What Distinguishes STS Impact Windows & Doors' Approach
Several details in the company's makeup shape how it approaches sliding glass door projects in Jupiter. First is specialization: this is an impact windows installer whose entire product range — from impact windows and French doors to sliding glass doors and garage doors — centers on storm-resistant construction, so sliding doors are handled as impact-rated systems rather than as ordinary interior fixtures. Second is the range of glass and product options the company works with, including recognized impact window and door manufacturers such as PGT, ES Windows, Eco Windows, and the Tecnoglass glass manufacturer, giving Jupiter projects access to established product lines. Third is scope: alongside new impact window and door installation, STS Impact Windows & Doors also handles related services such as window replacement and emergency post-hurricane and storm roof repairs, so the sliding glass door work sits within a fuller understanding of how a coastal property withstands weather.
For Jupiter property owners considering sliding glass doors, this page frames one clearly defined part of what STS Impact Windows & Doors does. Can impact sliding glass doors be custom-sized for a Jupiter home?
Yes. Many Jupiter homes have wide patio or lanai openings, and impact sliding glass doors are commonly configured with two, three, or four panels to fit large spans. STS Impact Windows & Doors offers custom impact doors and impact sliding glass doors, allowing configurations tailored to individual openings for properties in Jupiter and throughout the Boca Raton region.
Do impact sliding glass doors help with hurricane protection in Jupiter, FL?

STS Impact Windows & Doors installs these systems as part of its impact window and door work serving Jupiter and Palm Beach County.
How long do impact sliding glass doors last in Jupiter's coastal climate?
With quality aluminum framing and proper installation, impact sliding glass doors typically last many years even in salt-air coastal environments like Jupiter. Does an installer near Jupiter, FL handle both impact windows and sliding glass doors?
